The weird little things we notice in life.

Have some things in life you've noticed that are odd? I thought of a couple today.

1. I cannot read in a car without getting motion sickness, but I can read in a plane. (Thank God for that! Flying 8 hours without being able to read would make me nuts. LOL) I wasn't always like that though. As a child, I could read in the car without a problem. When I hit my teens, I started getting car sick. Hormones are strange things... I'm guessing we feel the motion more in a car, being on the ground and traveling slower, and have the passing scenery in our peripheral vision.

2. Almost everyone I know has songs that make them cry, for happy or sad reasons. Singing along with or just listening to these songs will make me cry, for instance a song that always makes me cry is Dog And Butterfly from Heart. So I wonder, how do these singers, sing without crying themselves?

amazing song! it came on the radio one day and i literally had to pull over from crying and of course you can't change the station!

That is a wicked sad song! I don't get how artists can do it and not cry themselves.
